John Deere cable skidder with 450 gallon custom fire-fighting tank setup. This unit was signed up under a fire contract when I purchased it in summer of 2022 as the previous owner passed away that winter. We modified the skidgine tank to spray herbicides, but kept the fire-fighting hose reel and designed the weed sprayer chemical injectors so that the unit can be set back up to fight fire as well simply by unbolting the chemical tank and injectors and bolting the original hose reel back on unit. Chemical was never in the tank as the weed sprayer setup was built with injectors that meter precise amounts of chemical into the lines after the pump. Looking to sell entire setup with weed spraying apparatus and fire fighting setup, would entertain selling just skidder and fire setup for reduced price. Skidder runs very good with no issues and worked great for our application, but we have decided to go a different route regarding equipment. Unsure of the exact year of the machine.
