The medium to large wheel loaders feature bucket capacities that range from 1.4 to 8.9 yards3 (1.1 to 6.8 meters3) that boost productivity for quarry and mine operations.

Designed for significant power use, Hitachi large and ultra-large crawler excavators have operating weights over 880 tons (800 metric tons) for stable operation in large open-cast mines. Hitachi also manufactures rigid-frame haul trucks (or off-highway trucks) that carry up to 326 t (296 mt) of material per load for mine and quarry applications.
