Opis
The CAT 308D is a mid-size excavator produced by Caterpillar Inc. and is an updated version of the CAT 308C with improvements to efficiency and productivity. It has an operating weight of approximately 20,500 lbs and is equipped with a turbocharged, 68 horsepower engine. The CAT 308D has a spacious cab with air conditioning and an adjustable seat for operator comfort, as well as ergonomically designed joystick controls for ease of use. This model has a maximum digging depth of approximately 18 feet, and a maximum reach of approximately 28 feet. Additionally, the CAT 308D has advanced safety features such as a rearview camera, LED work lights, and an automatic engine shutdown system, and also has a fuel-saving feature called the engine idle shutdown which switches off the engine if it is idling for more than five minutes.
