2008 Caterpillar 16M grader 0hr Rebuild (40980 frame hours) details as follows - Removed the old engine, transmission, cooling system, and all other components for a complete rebuild and full paint job. Replaced the old engine with a brand new HD REMAN engine (0 hours). comes with 24 month warranty Rebuilt the transmission and transmission pump to Caterpillar specifications using only genuine parts. Dyno tested the transmission after the rebuild, with the dyno report available. Sent the cooling system for testing Replaced the main hydraulic pump Crack-tested the entire frame and made minimal repairs where needed. The machine has already undergone all necessary frame updates to align with Series 2 16Ms. Painted the frame prior to fitting hoses and harnesses. Replaced all hydraulic hoses and harnesses in the back end of the machine, including new clamps, using only genuine parts. Removed, resealed, and refitted all hydraulic rams. Line-bored the ripper box frame, replaced all pins and bushes, and rebuilt the front axle and steering components. Reinstalled the front axle. Rebuilt the tandem housings, differential, bevel gear, isolation joint, and brake packs with genuine Caterpillar parts, including new chains. Replaced seals and bearings in the circle drive. Replaced all blade slides and shimmed the circle as required. Fitted 6 x New Radial Tyres Replaced the secondary steering motor. Completed a full paint and blast of the machine. Installed a fire suppression system. All work was carried out over the past 6 months to meet Caterpillar requirements and specifications using only genuine parts.
