Polish rental company Wypożyczalnia Kontener Zbigniew Wiktorski Spółka Jawna, a shipping container distribution specialist, keeps busy at its facility in Płock. Used shipping containers in an assortment of sizes and shapes have to be prepped for rental to construction sites across the country. Paint, rust, debris, casting marks, scratches, and other imperfections are sandblasted away with the help of an Atlas Copco E-Air H450 VSD portable electric air compressor.

Zbigniew Wiktorski, the owner of Wypożyczalnia Kontene, chose the E-Air H450 VSD for its durability, reliable supply of compressed air, zero emissions, and low noise output.

Although designed for portability, the E-Air has worked flawlessly to meet the company’s needs. “We initially sought a stationary unit with the same robustness and efficiency as the portable E-Air compressor but couldn't find one on the market,” says Wiktorski. “Thankfully, we have found that the E-Air delivers the same high performance as other stationary units, yet with a more robust, streamlined and user-friendly design. A standout feature is that the compact unit doesn’t require a dedicated compressor room, saving space and simplifying our setup. It has truly exceeded our expectations.”

About The Atlas Copco E-Air H450 VSD

The compressor has Pressure Adjusted through Cognitive Electronics (PACE) technology to regulate pressure. Users select the pressure from the compressor’s controller in just three clicks; the application determines the flow, and the PACE controller maintains it. Pressure is selected in increments of 0.1 bar (2 psi). The E-Air can provide everything from 5 bar (72 psi) for a handheld tool to 10 bar (145 psi) for sandblasting and all the way up to 14 bar (200 psi) for cable blowing.

The E-Air electric compressor is easy to maintain. Service points are easy to access, and the user-friendly interface enables quick maintenance tasks. “The Atlas Copco unit is a reliable and robust solution that meets our demanding needs," says Wiktorski. "Its performance in dusty conditions is outstanding, and it has become a critical component of our operation."
